Challenging socio-
economic inequalities

We aim to develop the underprivileged segments of the society by gradually transcending them to an environment that is encouraging. In this regard, we work towards facilitating each child and citizen with access to quality education, we work towards equal rights and dignity of all segments with an endeavour to make them employable, we foster scientific programs and policies as platforms for enabling better health and nutrition to communities. Serving as a laboratory of ideas, we manage programs that foster the flow of thoughts and knowledge to aid communities adopt better standards and envision a better life for the future generations ahead.

The oxymoronic ‘change-is-the-only-constant’ is heard in every corridor, yet change is ever elusive. We venture out towards new and progressive India to spark curiosity, nurture creativity and instill confidence in youth from the economically weaker sections of the society by bringing ingenious and innovative education, project-based and peer-to-peer learning to schools, towns and villages across India.

How we Work

Juvenile offenses are on rise steadily in India.Poverty and illiteracy drive juveniles to commit heinous crimes.

Increase in delinquency from economically backward communities has increased from 52.9 per cent to 55.6 per cent from 2010 to 2014.Out of the total number of juvenile criminals, 55.6 per cent belong to a family whose annual income is less than 25,000 INR. On the other hand, 53.8 per cent are either illiterate or have received only primary education.

Circumstances drive children to commit crime such as lack of boundaries and parental supervision, drug and alcohol misuse, mental health issues, such as attention deficient and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) etc. Our purpose is to connect with this segment of youth and initiate change interventions and restorative process by establishing interventions by working on the following dimensions:

Working on Grassroots

Connecting with the key stakeholders helps in enhanced understanding of the needs of the community, effective program planning and tracking deliverables. This goes a long way in ensuring successful implementation of our programs.

Working with Knowledge Partners

Organization driving and working towards a common cause enhances the efficacy of implementation of strategies and the impact of work .

Working with Funding Partners

Collaborating with Corporates, Organizations and supported by independently sourced funding we intent to enhance our penetration and reach out to masses.

We are part of Global Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are based on the principles of social, economic and environmental factors and embracing these three fundamental principles, is our founding philosophy towards the Crime Prevention through Social Development (CPSD).

Stories of Change

Leela is proud of the life she’s built. The 34-year-old mother financially supported her family, learnt the skills to stitch and crafted a life she cherishes. Her house sits among the villages of Vatika Kunj (a cluster in Naya Gaon) in Sohna Block, Haryana where she enjoys living with her family.
