As the name suggests, Remedial Education, is aimed at remedying the gap that usually exist between what students of grade 3 to grade 12 belonging to the lower strata of the society study at school and what they really grasp. Since these children usually do not have any parental guidance to supervise their studies, the need for assistance is very strong. Started in 1999, the initiative is catering to 1200 students at 36 centers in Bawana and 38 centers at Holambi Kalan.

The aim is to provide tutorial assistance, reduce dropout rate from schools and increase the retention. During examinations students are helped with preparation. Guidance is provided to strengthen the foundation in Mathematics, Science, English, Social Science and Language. For adolescents, stress is laid on imparting life skills. The availability of computer laboratories, exposure trips and libraries go a long way in helping students perform better.
