AIM

To improve health status and health seeking behaviour of the community

OBJECTIVES

• To improve health status of the community especially children and women
• To generate awareness in the community on health related issues
• To liaison with other specialized hospitals and government department and other related departments for organizing health camps in the community.

ACTIVITIES

• Monthly need based health camps are organized in the community in association with government and private hospitals
• Health talks and health education classes are conducted on regular basis for children in schools and community
• Nukkad Nataks (street plays), puppet shows, rallies are organized on health issues followed by debriefing sessions
• Follow up of health camps is done
