WHATS PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US All testimonials..»
"My name is Ram Rati Devi. I am a permanent resident of Kherla village. I am 35 years old and have five kids. My husband is unemployed. He used to consume alcohol everyday and assaulted me after that. From the day I joined Navjyoti, I am able to meet my household expenditures. Previously I had been a Gali School teacher in Navjyoti, but now I am a member of Issue Based Group. I am aware of all the functions of this organization, and for this reason, I became a part of Mahila Ka Sahara Group. In this group we discuss our family, societal and personal issues and problems. And thereby we reach upon a conclusion to solve the problem.

After joining this group I have gained a lot of confidence and now, I can face any adverse situation with courage.

In Navjyoti, members of Self Help Group suggested me that since I know stitching, I can use my skill as my vocation and buy a sewing machine by taking loan. I started training the girls in the village and took fees from them. Navjyoti provided me a place to set up my sewing machine. Also the Vocational training instructor from Navjyoti gave me free training classes so that I can furnish my skills further. Other than this I am also a member of a Self Help Group, Baladass group. As I already have one machine, I will buy another machine so that I can train more and more girls and meet expenses of my household.

I had also got an opportunity to meet Madam Kiran Bedi and even got awarded by her. This left me overwhelmed. I am more confident now. Navjyoti has taught me that no matter what, we should work with full devotion and honesty. Its my privilege to be a part of Navjyoti family. I will be always grateful to Navjyoti, which showed me the right path in life and will be thankful for running such welfare programme for women."
