Sample this! Raju is 10 years old. He lives in a family of four in the nearby Bhondsi village. His father is a construction labourer and goes to the city everyday to find work. His mother toils in the fields throughout the day, elder sister Gita is 11 years old. The family sustains on a day to day basis depending on Raju’s father finding a day’s work. Both the parents work very hard to make ends meet. Since the life pressures are so hard and there isn’t enough, After school classes are provided to students at the Rural Development Centre. The curriculum comprises of English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Sanskrit. The students are helped with their curriculum and tutorial assistance is provided since usually their parents do not have time to do so nor have the capacity to guide them as they themselves being illiterate.
