Subject: Inauguration of Navjyoti Community Colleges News: With the vision to make marginalized and underprivileged students self reliant, Navjyoti India Foundation has registered itself with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) under its Community College Scheme. The organization inaugurated its four Community Colleges at Jahangirpuri (resettlement colony), Karala (Head Office), Bawana (resettlement colony) and Naya Gaon (Gurgaon). â€˜The Peopleâ€™s Collegeâ€™, Navjyoti Community College would offer Certificate and Diploma courses to empower individuals through appropriate skill development leading to productive employment or self- employment, particularly to the marginalized and underprivileged sections of the society. Navjyoti Community College (NCC) will offer an ample range of career oriented and vocational courses and programs at an affordable cost to all students, comprising of all ages, such as English Speaking, Computer Education, Communication skills, Personality Development, Vocational Education and Training, Coaching for competitive exams in police services, security agencies etc. The revolutionary education system focusing on skill enhancement will lead them towards productive employment. All courses have been designed on the basis of surveys conducted in the community, to enable higher employability. Course development is being done by professional and qualified experts and computer courses are supported by Vedanta Foundation and India Vision Foundation. Vedanta Foundation will also support in organizing placement fairs for the students. The overall focus of the NCC is to provide quality in every aspect of the process of imparting education, to provide the best of faculty, up-to-date curriculum, innovative teaching methods and modern infrastructure. Not only this, eligible students referred by Navjyoti India Foundation can even avail low interest easy bank educational loan facility at concessional rate of interest of 4% under DRI Scheme, provided by Bank of India and Punjab National Bank.
