Q2. Please explain “Remedial Sponsorship Program” of Navjyoti India Foundation.
The program aims for active participation from the community in the form of
monetary contribution for the year 2010-2011 – Rs. 6000/- per student for a year
and Rs. 500/- per student for a month. Q3. What do “Extra Educational Needs” cover?
Extra Educational Needs mean the following additional educational contribution such as..
Library Facilities, Exposure Trips, Basic Health Care, Nutrition, Computer Literacy, English Learning Lessons, Sports, Music Classes & etc
Q4. Will I be connected to the child and be kept posted of the progress?
Yes, you will be connected and also kept posted concerning the welfare of the
child.
Q5. What if I want to contribute less than Rs 500?
Yes , any contribution is of value. However, you may have to bring in one or more supporter with whom you can jointly support. Q6. What happens to the child when I wish to stop the contribution?
If you wish to stop your contribution, you could look for a donor among your friends and family to support the child. Alternatively, we would appreciate if you could give us at least a 3 months notice to find the child another donor.
Q7. What is the process of Payment of the sponsorship amount and will I get tax benefits?
Donation can be made conveniently through wire transfers and online donation,
the details are provided below.Also, the receipt received from the foundation
can be attached to your income tax statement which will enable you to claim tax
benefits under Section 80G of the India Income Tax Act. |
