Mrs Saina R Bharucha is Honorary Director and Head (Advocacy and Planning). Her experience in the field of social development stems from working voluntarily for the past ten years for slum upliftment, women development, education of street child and health care. She had been working for prison reforms and has produced a TV Serial “Galti Kiski” based on the real life stories to sensitize general public and law enforcement agencies. She has served India Vision Foundation in the capacity of Director-Projects and started an award for children for innovation, invention and discovery called Original Mind Awards. Later she was appointed as Executive Trustee in India Vision Foundation. After volunteering with Navjyoti India Foundation for 10 years, she joined us in 2004. A visionary, strong willed and determined, the organization has grown under her leadership.

Ms Chandni Bedi Taneja is Head Operations, Administration. An extremely organized that she is, she started her career with Navjyoti’s Rural Development Program in 2003 and that remains her key area of interest. The much applauded projects of Water Shed Management & Federation of Self Help Groups saw the day of light under her leadership. A Delhi University topper with specialization in Environmental Sciences and a Masters in Environmental Management, she brings in insights from her experience of working at the grass root level that helps in building effective work strategies.

Ms Neetu S Joshi is Head Operations for the Urban Development Programme. She started her career with Navjyoti India Foundation in 2001. She has worked across various verticals like research, training, documentation, publication and brings in diverse experience on the table. Presently her key areas of work are planning and implementation of the projects in resettlement colonies of Delhi with prime focus on education. She is a gold medalist in Masters in Social Work with specialization in Child Development. She has been constantly contributing to the organization’s growth and success since her joining.

Ms.Ujala Bedi heads the Rural Development Program of Navjyoti India Foundation. She is also an ISO certified auditor. Her association with NIF goes back a few years, but it was in September 2008 when she took to her calling of social work and put up her papers at Citi Group where she had served for 11 years as a Senior Manager. Her long stint at the corporate world brings in the much needed structured approach and has enabled us to function better.

Dr.Bharat Bhushan is a homeopathic physician and Incharge of Drug Demand Reduction Training Institute (DDRTI) which is our flagship initiative. He has been associated with Navjyoti India Foundation since 1992. He holds a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery. He has also trained for treatment of Alcoholism & Drug Dependence from All India Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He has extensive experience and handled different projects of the organization on the issues of community Health, Education, HIV/AIDS, DOTS etc. He has been responsible for bettering close to 1600 lives and the number still grows on. Dr.Bharat Bhushan has represented the organization in Drug Deaddiction Program in India and abroad at various forums.
